Tissa Vitarana, one of Sri Lanka’s leading professors of anthropology, has commented on the statement spread on social media by a worldwide anthropologist who claims that all people who have been vaccinated against the coronavirus will die within two years. He states that this is completely untrue and that there is no possibility of that happening.

The scientist who allegedly made the statement had later stated that he had not said so, he further said.

He says that now there is a modern field for finding vaccines and therefore it has become faster. He made these comments in an interview with an online channel.
