Coronavirus current situation in Sri Lanka- cardboard coffins are introduced for corona related deaths

Dehiwala Mount Lavinia Municipal Council has introduced a cardboard coffin for corona burial.

The cost of one of them is less than Rs. 10,000, These are made by recycling waste paper board, Dehiwala Mount Lavinia Municipal Councilor Priyantha Sahabandu said.

He said that the Dehiwala Mount Lavinia Municipal Council has initiated this program and the first body in a cardboard box was cremated yesterday.
