Government has decided to impose travel restrictions across the country over the coming weekend as well.

Accordingly, strict restrictions will be imposed from 11 pm on Friday the 21st to 4 am on Tuesday the 25th, Army Commander Shavendra Silva said.

Again on the same day, Tuesday, May 25, from 11pm to 4am on Friday, May 28th, these travel restrictions will be in effect.

Anyone who is not on essential services will be restricted from leaving the home during that period.
