Corona current situation in Sri Lanka- Hospital mortuary fills up, New mortuary builds for corona deaths
The Dambulla Municipal Council has made arrangements to construct a temporary mortuary at the Dambulla Weera Denzil Kobbekaduwa Hospital as a solution to the daily increase in deaths.
The Mayor of Dambulla has also held discussions with his authorities. Accordingly, a mortuary will be set up to separate the corpses of patients who die of cornea and other corpses.
A large number of patients are found daily within the city limits of Dambulla and they are being treated at the Kidney Unit of the Dambulla Weera Denzil Kobbekaduwa Hospital, the Bhikku Ward and the Corona Treatment Units at the Intensive Care Units.
The number of patients is increasing day by day and so far 404 residents of the Dambulla Municipal Council area and 200 patients have been found in the Dambulla area.
