Three individuals of the same house died while receiving treatment at the IDH Hospital in Colombo due to corona infection.

The deceased have been identified as three residents of the Gonawatta area in Malabe.

The victims were aged 94, 86 and 82 respectively one of the deceased was a former Kaduwela Municipal Councilor. The other two were women.
