The Protest in Sri Lanka-The protesters will be charged for the damage caused to the Galle Face

Urban Development Minister Mr Prasanna Ranatunga mentions that the damage caused to the place where the activists were staying in Galle Face ground will be recovered from those protesters.

He said that legal action will be taken regarding the damage caused to the concerned area and through that, they will be recovered.

The minister also said that he informed the officials of the ministry to submit a complete assessment report regarding the damage caused to the area and advise him on the legal steps to be taken.

He further said that if the compensation money is not collected, the ministry will have to face this problem in the future.
