Fuel Shortage in Sri Lanka-Fuel will be provided only to busses in service – Government

The National Transport Commission says that henceforth fuel will not be given to buses that are not running.

Nilan Miranda, director general of the commission, states that priority should be given to the needs of the passengers.

He also said that facilities for obtaining fuel for all inter-provincial buses have been arranged from the Bastion Road Bus Terminal in Peththah.

He further said that the bus owners are also requested to add all the buses to the service for the convenience of the passengers.
