Mizukoshi Hideaki, the Japanese ambassador in Colombo, has stated that Sri Lanka will not be aided at this time.
He mentioned this in a discussion with the Tamil National Alliance yesterday.
The Japanese ambassador has also mentioned that if financial aid is given to Sri Lanka at this time, there is a risk of it being mismanaged. However, the TNA added that assistance to Sri Lanka could be considered later.
