Lanka IOC in a statement on Friday (20) said that Petrol will ONLY be supplied directly into the fuel tank of the vehicles at the Lanka IOC filling stations with immediate effect.

Lanka IOC said that petrol will not be provided from Lanka IOC filling stations into cans, containers, or bottles.

This has been decided to ensure the safety of the public and property, said Lanka IOC.
