Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna Member of Parliament Madhura Vithanage says that former Sports Minister Namal Rajapaksa is behind the Ceylon Cricket team’s victory in the Asia Cup.
He also mentioned that Namal Rajapakse’s two and a half years of service to the sport are now bearing fruit.
He also said that Mr Namal Rajapaksa played a big role in bringing sports to the front without politics.
Therefore, it is very appropriate to give Mr Namal Rajapaksa a ministerial position, he said while addressing a press conference of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna.
