The All Ceylon Petrol Station Owners Association says that filling stations have been closed due to the non-delivery of the ordered fuel.

Its chairman Mr. Kumara Rajapaksa said that increase in fuel consumption the queues near the filling stations have increased again.

Mr. Shanta Silva, Secretary of Petroleum Transport Tanker Owners Association, said that there is currently a shortage of fuel reserves across the island.
