A person has been killed in an attack in Katunayake, Kahalapitiya area.
The police said that the person injured in the attack died after being admitted to the Minuwangoda hospital.
The deceased is a 58-year-old resident of Kahalapitiya area. The assault took place as a result of a personal dispute between the deceased and the assailant.
The police said that the suspect had fled the area
