Rathindu Senaratne alias Ratta has been arrested yesterday afternoon.
Rathindu Senaratne aka Ratta came to Colombo Crime Division this afternoon to give a voluntary statement regarding the incident that led to the arrest of Mr Pathum Karner.
His lawyer said that an officer from the special unit of the Company Street Police arrived at the time and arrested him.
The lawyer said that the arrest was made in relation to a case in the Fort Magistrate Court. The police said that the Colombo Central Division Criminal Investigation Bureau arrested Rathidu Senaratne on charges of damaging public property during a protest on Bank Mawatha last May 21.
