The organization involved in the protest has requested the United Nations in Colombo to immediately intervene about the attacks on the the protest

The organization involved in the protest has requested the United Nations in Colombo to immediately intervene about the attacks on the the protest.

They have made this request by submitting a letter to that organization.

In the meantime, Mr. Joseph Stalin, Secretary of the Ceylon Teachers’ Union, states that a request has been made to the foreign embassies in Colombo to directly intervene in the current human rights violations in Sri Lanka.
