Political crisis in Sri Lanka- Red Cross first aid was officially removed from the protest area

In a statement, the Sri Lanka Red Cross Society says that according to a court order issued by the Colombo Magistrate’s Court, the first aid camp was removed from the Gota Go village protest site on July 21.

The court had previously issued an order prohibiting the assembly of a 50-meter area from the Bandaranaike statue to the place where the protest was taking place.

Then the government deployed the security forces and occupied a large area where the protestors were staying.
