There is a risk of a dengue epidemic in the country

The Ministry of Health says that there is a risk of dengue epidemic developing in Sri Lanka.

 The Drector of the National Dengue Control Unit, Dr. Sudath Samaraweera, said that ney 8,200 dengue patients have been reported in this month alone.

The Deputy Director of Health Services of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Hemantha Herath says that the number of corona patients is increasing.
