The world-famous Bloomberg magazine states that Sri Lanka has reached the zone of hyperinflation.

They point out that this situation has arisen after inflation exceeded 54% last June.

They also point out that Sri Lanka has entered this situation by exceeding the 50% level commonly used by many economists to define hyperinflation.
