Due to the crisis situation in Ukraine, two special telephone numbers have been introduced for Sri Lankans in Ukraine.
According to the Ministry of External Affairs, a 24-hour hotline has been set up at the Sri Lankan Embassy in Ankara for Sri Lankans in Ukraine.
Accordingly, the Embassy can be contacted at +90 534 456 94 98 or +90 312 427 10 32.
The Foreign Ministry said it had instructed the embassy in Ankara to take appropriate steps to coordinate the safe repatriation of other Sri Lankans staying in Ukraine due to the escalating situation.
