Nigeria lifts the Twitter ban

Foreign media have reported that the Nigerias
ban on Twitter has been lifted.

Twitter has been banned from using social media for seven months since last June.

The use of Twitter in Nigeria has been suspended due to a problem following the publication of a statement by Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari on Twitter.

However, the Nigerian government said in a statement yesterday that it would lift the ban on Twitter with the president’s approval.
