Police interrogate a drunk driver who was about to enter the Southern Expressway from Imaduwa to Galle.

The driver admits that he was driving under the influence of alcohol and told the OIC that he had been drinking with the Imaduwa Police OIC.

The OIC then obscenely calls his junior officer and instructs him to “send him”.

The incident was reported in July 2021, shortly after Corona’s launch.

The Police Media Unit stated that a disciplinary inquiry has been launched against the OIC.
