A fire in an apartment complex in Philadelphia, USA has killed 12 people. Eight children were among the dead.

 The fire broke out in a three-storey building and 26 people were on board at the time. However, it took firefighters nearly an hour to control the blaze.

The cause of the fire has not been revealed yet and the security forces are conducting further investigations into the incident.
