Another turning point in the Indian ODI cricket leadership

Indian cricket authorities recently removed Virat Kohli from the captaincy of the Indian ODI team and appointed Rohit Sharma to the post.

It was clear from some of the things he said at a subsequent press conference that Kohli was having a hard time as a result.

The Indian team is currently on a tour of South Africa.

The Test series will be followed by a one-day series. However, it is reported that the Indian selection committee has decided not to name the injured Rohit Sharma for the tournament.

Sharma has been replaced by KL Rahul as the captain of the Indian ODI team and Jaspreet Bumra as the vice-captain.

Virat Kohli has also been named in the squad for the ODI series against South Africa.
