The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) says that they are hoping that the power supply could be provided undisrupted from tomorrow (07).
Sri Lanka faced an islandwide power outage for several hours on Friday (03) due to a major breakdown.
The power supply was disrupted for several hours on numerous occasions to several areas until the Norochcholai power plant was fixed.
Several areas faced a one-hour power cut between 06 pm – 09 pm over the last few days as a result.
A Senior CEB official told NewsWire that they are expecting that all issues will be rectified by tomorrow and the power supply will be provided undisrupted from there onwards. (NewsWire)
