An explosion has occurred at a house in the Pannipitiya area in Kottawa. Kottawa Police said that it is suspected that the explosion that took place this morning (25) was due to a gas leak.
The house was badly damaged by the blast. However, the police stated that no one in the house was injured. A woman living in the house explained the incident.
There was a big noise around 4am. The door was left open for a while because I could not see it all at once. When you look, the gas explodes and a sound comes out of it. . The roof was all down a bit. The ceiling was all broken. Gas is a problem. Fortunately, no one was awake at the time. “
