Six school children were killed and Eleven others who were injured in the accident after a ferry capsized

Six school children were killed when a ferry capsized, police said.

The accident took place this morning in the Kurunjankeni area in Trincomalee.

Eleven others who were injured in the accident have been admitted to the hospital.
