The United States has decided to open its borders to foreign tourists from today (08) easing strict travel restrictions.
Authorities say they expect a large influx of tourists into the country. One and a half years later, the US border was opened to foreign tourists.
Accordingly, the travel ban imposed on fully vaccinated tourists from 33 countries, including the United Kingdom, China, India, South Africa, Iran, Brazil and European countries, will be lifted.
It is reported that tourists must get a vaccine approved by the United States or the World Health Organization when visiting the United States.
They must also submit a negative PCR test report obtained 72 hours before the flight and have been released from quarantine.
U.S. officials say they expect a large influx of tourists into the country in the wake of the lifting of the travel ban.
Once again, the spread of the covid 19 virus is on the rise, with the total number of covid infections in the United States exceeding 4.7 million.
The total number of deaths due to the epidemic in the country is over 775,000.
