For the first time in Russia, the daily number of covid deaths exceeds 1,000 today (16), according to foreign media reports.

The government says it is reluctant to get vaccinated. It is estimated that only one-third of the country’s population has been vaccinated so far.

So far, 222,000 covid deaths have been reported in the country, the highest in Europe alone.
