Gayani Kaluarachchi of the Sri Lanka Air Force won a bronze medal at the International Army Boxing Championships in Moscow, Russia.
She represented Sri Lanka in the 75 kg weight class.
This is the first time a Sri Lankan athlete has won a bronze medal at such an international boxing event, the Sri Lanka Air Force said.
This is the 58th International Military Boxing Championship.
