It is reported that the Cost of Living Committee which met yesterday has given its approval to increase the prices of milk powder, gas, wheat flour and cement.
It is scheduled to be implemented after cabinet approval next week.
The committee has also decided not to increase the prices of rice and infant milk powder.
The Cost of Living Committee has recommended the following to increase the price.
Milk powder 1Kg 200.00
Gas 12.5kg 550.00
1kg of wheat flour 10.00
Cement 50kg 50.00
