Geetha Kumarasinghe, a Member of Parliament for the Sri Lanka People’s Front (SLPP) says that she is deeply saddened not only the Governor of the Central Bank but also herself.
She said that the people of Benthara Elpitiya were not given due consideration and if not, she wondered why she came to politics.
She said she did not like the ban on underwear and that with the imposition of the goods tax, there would be no more grapes in the country in the future like in Madam’s time.
She made these comments at a press conference held at his residence in Bentota.
