Only the Army and the Youth Services Council are vaccinating ‘Pfaizer’ in Hambantota. What is the priority?

The Association of Medical Laboratory Professionals is questioning as to who is giving the Pfizer vaccine recommended by the World Health Organization for children under the age of 18 to the people of the Hambantota District.

Its chairman Ravi Kumudesh says it should be clarified whether the decision to give the vaccine to a group in the Hambantota district, excluding A / L and O / L students, was based on necessity.

He said that since Hambantota is also a citizen of Sri Lanka, it is not a problem for other citizens to be vaccinated as well, but the Ministry of Health should explain the scientific reason for giving the Pfizer vaccine only to the district with the participation of the Youth Services Council and the Army.
