Professor Ashoka Dangolla of the University of Peradeniya says that a drug called ‘Ivermectin’ shown to be effective in controlling the corona virus.

He points out that although this is to control animal colic and fleas, it also has the ability to control viruses.

He says that several countries in the world have already achieved successful results by giving this medicine for corona infections.
