Dr. Udara Sampath Gunawardena said that a person in a wheelchair at the Karapitiya Hospital has died after being stunned for half an hour.

He said that no one would even come close to looking for such critically ill patients and doctors are hiding in fear and do not even answer the phone.

He said these while he was addressing a media briefing.
