The government and private sector unions have decided to launch a two-week strike to close the country if the government does not take action to close the country from Friday.

 Accordingly, the United Coalition of Trade Unions and Civil Organizations of the State, Semi-Government and Private Sector states that a 10 day strike will be launched in the country from the 23rd.

Convener of the UPFA Ravi Kumudesh says that the trade union action will be launched to close the country for 10 days.

He said that the government should take action to close the country by Friday and if not, it will collect the required items for 10 days and inform the people who are at home by the 23rd.
