The Ambalantota Traders Association has decided to close all shops in Ambalantota

The Ambalantota Traders Association has decided to close all shops in Ambalantota from today (15).

The decision was taken due to the high risk of corona spreading in the areas around Ambalantota and the frequent visits of people from those areas to Ambalantota.

Secretary of the Ambalantota Traders Association A. H. Mr Premachandra said the decision would be implemented for about a week and that a decision would be taken to reopen or close the shops in the future considering the situation in the country.
