Two public health inspectors who went to quarantine the home of a man who died of the covid-19 virus have been attacked at his home.

 It was at his house in the Kondeniya area in the Dikwella police division. The attack had taken place when the two public health inspectors on duty at the Dikwella Medical Officer of Health’s office had gone to the house on the 13th.

Dikwella Police have arrested two persons in connection with the incident and remanded them until the 23rd.
