A womans dead body has been found inside a sack in a shop.
Police said they had previously received a complaint about a missing woman and suspected that the body was in the sack.
The owner of the shop has been arrested in connection with the incident.
A complaint has been lodged with the Valachchenai Police regarding the disappearance of a 55 year old woman residing in the Valachchenai area last evening (05).
