The Administrative Appeals Tribunal has confirmed that the telephone conversation between Dilrukshi Dias Wickremasinghe, the former Director-General of the Bribery Commission and Solicitor General, and Nissanka Senadhipathi, the Chairman of Avangard, was edited, The Sunday Times reports.
Ms Wickramasinghe had been suspended and sent on compulsory leave due to the conversation.
In this situation, it has been informed that the suspension order should be revoked and permission should be given to resume duties immediately.
Meanwhile, Dilrukshi Dias Wickramarasinghe has sent a letter to the Commander-in-Chief requesting immediate payment of Rs. 2 billion for the damage caused to her by the incident.
