A Stock of 2 million doses of the Sinopharm vaccine was brought to Sri Lanka.

A stock of 2 million doses of Sinopharm vaccine made in China has been brought to Sri Lanka.

The consignment was brought to Sri Lanka by two planes from Beijing at around 5.30 am today (22), the Airport correspondent said.

The vaccine was purchased by the State Pharmaceutical Corporation.

Accordingly, the total number of Sinopharm vaccines imported to Sri Lanka is 9.1 million, said Minister of State Prof. Channa Jayasumana.
