Sri Lankan government is growing as a Rajapaksa family company – The New York Times

The New York Times reports that the current Sri Lankan government is growing as a Rajapaksa family company.

The report states that at present three brothers of President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa are holding senior government posts and two of his nephews have also been given official posts.

The report cites Basil Rajapaksa’s swearing in as Sri Lanka’s finance minister as a confirmation of family rule.
