Steps have been taken to open the Economic Centers of the island for wholesale trade today (June 17) and tomorrow (June 18).

Such economic centres are open for mobile traders to purchase stocks of vegetables and fruits.

Accordingly, the Peliyagoda Manning Vegetable Market and the Fish Market were opened for wholesale trade from this morning.
