The Public Health Inspectors’ Association states that the ‘Astrazenica’ vaccine, which has been in a crisis, has been vaccinated at a place in the Galle area yesterday.
Accordingly, Several business families who had left Colombo and family members of the Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) have been vaccinated, the association’s president Upul Rohana said.
He also alleged that despite the Ministry of Health officially announced the depletion of stocks of AstraZeneca vaccines, the stocks were being hidden all over the country by government medical officers association.
He further stated that this is a misuse of government funds and investigations should be started immediately.
