Nurses are on strike tomorrow

The All Ceylon Nurses Association states that they will engage in a trade union action from tomorrow morning.

The General Secretary of the Association stated that the nurses working in the Corona treatment centres are engaged in this trade union action to protest against the failure to provide solutions to the problems they face.

He said that although the authorities were informed about these problems, no proper solutions have been provided so far.

He further stated that they will be engaged in a trade union action from tomorrow morning till the next day, by reporting sick leave.
