A Minneapolis court has released new police bodycam footage of George Floyd pleading with officers during his arrest.
He was saying: “I’m not a bad guy” for few times and the camera shows that police officer Derek Chauvin stucked his knee on Mr Floyd’s neck for more than nine minutes, and Mr Floyd begging not to be harmed saying he had done nothing wrong.
He also said on the clip “Please don’t shoot me… I just lost my mom.” and further after he handcuffed he continued to plead that he is not resisting them and “will do anything you tell me to”.
Also the court took the ideas from the witnesses on the case and the youngest one was apologising for” not doing more”. And most of them were emotional on the case.
The video footage of Derek Chauvin kneeling on George Floyd’s neck last May was watched around the world and that lead to a world wide protest against racism.
