Search to find a 15 years old boy dragged away by crocodile in Sampur

The Sampur Police, Navy and residents of the area are conducting a joint search operation to find a 15-year-old boy who was dragged away by a crocodile yesterday evening (March 27).

Three boys went to lttikulam tank in Sampur to bath and one of them had gone missing following the incident, Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said.

He futher urged the public to follow precautionary actions and the warnings to avoid attacks by crocodiles and also mentioned about the danger of getting drowned while bathing in rivers, lakes and tanks especialy during upcoming festive season.
