UN urges world to act expeditiously after the deadliest day in Myanmar; US horrified

Human rights officials from UN calling all the international community act immediate, to stop the bloodshed in Myanmar.They urges this after around 114 civilians were reportedly killed by Myanmar military junta on Saturday.

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said that he was deeply shocked after the murdering unarmed civilians and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has said that Washington is “horrified” by deaths in Myanmar on Saturday.

Tom Andrews, UN Special Rapporteur for human rights in Myanmar said that its time for world to robust a coordinated action as words are not enough to protect peoples lives.
