A video of a person who is wearing a police t-shirt hitting a car driver is sharing on social media. According to the video the incident happened in Yakkala junction near ganemulla cushion works in Kandy Colombo road on Wednesday(May 05) “A bus belonging to Sri Lanka police was traveling from Kandy to Colombo and even it was signaling continuously asking for space it wasn’t any enough space until I come near to the Ganemulla cushion works,” the car driver said. After he slows and stops the car the police bus came overtook his car and a few of them started to hit him even before he explained the situation and snatch his car key and threw it away into the garbage strain nearby. A bike driver who witnesses the incident explained how the police bus was carelessly derived and explained how even he was in danger of an accident. 238 arrested for forgetting face mask; Jaffna police has to drag people

238 people have been arrested for violating quarantine laws, including not wearing masks and not keeping distance during a police island-wide operation yesterday; Police Media Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana stated. The Police Media Spokesman said that 5486 persons have been arrested so far for violating the quarantine rules including not wearing masks and about 5400 of them have been charged so far. Wearing a face mask alone is not enough and the law will be enforced if it is not worn by hygienic practices. A woman who fell and died in the garden was died due to an infection of Corona

A 70-year-old woman was found dead in Balangoda on the 4th of this month after infecting corona, according to the Balangoda Medical Officer of Health. She is a resident of Tenna Hena Road, Polwatta Junction, Balangoda. She had fainted on the way home from the garden on the 2nd and had died while admitting to the Balangoda Base Hospital, health sources said.
