A U.S. court has ruled that a lawsuit filed against superstar Cristiano Ronaldo should be dropped after a lengthy trial. He had allegedly assaulted a woman at a Las Vegas hotel in the United States in 2009 and the woman had filed a civil rape case seeking compensation, foreign media reported. The court issued the order after more than a decade of trial.The judge stated that the case was dismissed due to the confusion of the facts presented by the plaintiff and the failure to substantiate the allegations made.
