The government has decided on exceeding the retirement age in the private sector

The Cabinet has approved a bill to extend the retirement age of private-sector employees to 60 years.

Approval was given at the Cabinet meeting on 23.03.2021 to amend the existing minimum age limit.

Accordingly, the Preliminary Draft prepared by the Prime Minister has been further discussed in the Committee on Study on Policy and Legal Matters Affecting the Apparel Industry and Trade Sector.
