Popular actress Hyacinth Wijeratne died in an accident

Popular actress Hyacinth Wijeratne (75) was died after her van overturned on a precipice, Lidula Police said. The accident took place at around 12.10 am on the 31st near the Lidula town on the Hatton-Nuwara Eliya main road. The van was traveling from Nuwara Eliya to Colombo when the van veered off the road near the town of Lidula and overturned into a 200-foot precipice near Kotmala Oya. The exhumation of the body of Ishalini has already begun

A suspect has been arrested during a raid carried out by the Colombo Police Narcotics Bureau and the Kalutara District Crimes Division today morning (30),with 40 kilograms of heroin in the Renukana area in Bandaragama,police said. It has been revealed that the drug trafficking is being carried out from the United Arab Emirates. Police Media Spokesman, Senior DIG Ajith Rohana stated that the value of the drugs is around Rs. 400 million.
Wanidu Hasaranga is likely to play in the IPL this year
